libjira-client-automated-perl software package provides JIRA REST Client for automated scripts, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjira-client-automated-perl
libjira-client-automated-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjira-client-automated-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjira-client-automated-perl *
